体験語る 生活の質向上へ１０～４０代の２８人 28 tumor experienced ex-patients talked about improvement of their life

10〜40代のがん経験者が集い、晩期合併症の問題について語り合ったそうです。私たちは治療が終わると患者達は社会に戻り私たちと同じように生活していると思いがちだ。しかし、今回のイベントでは「記憶力が下がり、二つの作業を同時に行うのが苦手になった」「結婚しても不妊であることを相手の両親に言えない」といった生活面での支障を訴えた。

合併症のことはあまり知られていない。だから、私はこのようなことで苦しんでいる方々をいつまでも支援し続けなければいけないと思う。そして、私たちが癌患者の皆さんが生活にできるだけ不便しなくてよいような社会を創造しなければならない。

People who experienced cancer in the age range from 10 to 40 gathered and talked about the late complications that are making their life even harder. We don't know much about the symptoms after all the treatments are completed. However, they said that "It is very difficult to remember things, so I can't do anything at the same time" "I got married but I can't be pregnant, and I cannot tell that to my husband's mother."

We are the one who have to create the society where these people could feel comfortable and have less difficulties.
