絵本でみんなを元気に 小児がん克服 横浜の１０歳 10 year old boy encouraged everyone through story telling and lemonade stand

横浜市の10歳の男の子、栄島四郎くんと同級生の子供たちが横浜駅西口の桁下ふれあい広場でレモネードスタンドのエリアを設け、自身の体験などを交えた絵本「しろさんのレモネードやさん」の制作費用を募るのが目的でレモネードを売り始めた。絵本の売り上げは小児がんの子供たちの治療に役立てる予定だそうだ。
３歳で小児がんと診断された四郎くんは、母佳子さん（４６）に読んでもらった絵本で、同じ病気で亡くなった米国の少女、アレックス・スコットちゃんが、レモネードを売って病気の子供たちに寄付したと知った。「僕も病院のみんなを元気にしたい」。昨年１２月に地元で初めてレモネードスタンドを開いて以来、ずっと活動を続けてきた。そんな中、少しずつ支援の輪が広がり、絵本の制作が決まった。
これからも、目標に向かって頑張ってください！
Shiro Eishima, 10 year old from Yokohama-city, Japan, and his friends from same school did an event, lemon stand, at Yokohama station to collect money for publishing picture book that he wrote based on his experience. The money from the book will be donated to the development of medication for pediatric cancer. I really hope he will continue to move towards his dream
