人身売買撲滅運動 Raising Awareness for Human Trafficking in Japan

小児がんのお話ではありませんが、人身売買撲滅グループとし活動したお話をします！
私たちは、私たちの活動をより一層広めようとスーパーボールすくいを行い、それと同時に小さいお子さんだけでなく、大人の方も楽しめるように人身売買の現状について日本語で描かれた漫画とそれを英語に訳したもの、また、私たちのグループの活動についてのパンフレットを受けっとってくださった方々にお菓子をお渡ししました。
私たちは、私たちの活動をより一層広めようとスーパーボールすくいを行い、それと同時に小さいお子さんだけでなく、大人の方も楽しめるように人身売買の現状について日本語で描かれた漫画とそれを英語に訳したもの、また、私たちのグループの活動についてのパンフレットを受けっとってくださった方々にお菓子をお渡ししました。
今、日本ではあまり知られていませんが、JKビジネスという高校生を対象にした性的人身売買というものが盛んに行われています。これらの行為は日本の法律で違法と定められてはいますが、刑が重くない為、たくさんの人々が金銭目的でこれらの行為を行っています。その為、日本ではあまり知られていませんが、たくさんの高校生が被害にあっているのです。このような高校生は自ら被害を受けているということを周りに伝えることが出来ず、苦しんでいるのが現状です。私たちが支援している団体、Lighthouseは日本でただ一つこのような人々を直接支援している団体です。私たち、人身売買撲滅グループは、これからもLighthouseさんと協力をし、たくさんの人身売買の被害に遭われている方々に手を差し伸べられるように頑張っていきたいと思っています。
私たちが出店したブースにより、今後の私たちと同年代の子供たちの為の活動に使用できるお金を集めることに成功したと同時に、たくさんの方々にこの人身売買という大きな問題を知ることが出来たのではないかと思っています。
Today, I had a food fair at my school, and Combating Human Trafficking, a group that I'm in charge of. As we are trying to expand our activity, we did a bouncy ball scooping. We also did the activity that attracted adults, such as showing the manga about human trafficking cases in Japan, and translated version of that manga (our group translated the whole manga into Japanese!), and also giving out the pamphlets on what we are trying to achieve, and if people take the pamphlet, we gave out the snacks.
Not many Japanese recognise this issue, but JK business (high school student business), sex trafficking especially with high school students, are happening a lot in Japan. Those activities are regulated by Japanese law, but the punishment is not as heavy. Therefore, a lot of people do have those businesses for financial purpose. Those students are not being able to ask for help to others, and suffering in those terrible situations, being sexually harmed by the adults. Lighthouse, an organisation that my group is working with is the only organisation in Japan that directly supports the victims. Us, the Combating Human Trafficking would like to work with Lighthouse as one team, and try to give helping hands to those who are in need of help.
From the booth that we had at the food fair, we successfully collected money to support the needs of the victims who are about our age, and also we believe that we were able to spread awareness about this issue.
